22. Biennale Aktuelle Musik
The 22nd Biennale Aktuelle Musik organised by projektgruppe neue musik bremen presents five world premieres, three commissioned works as part of the focus ARTIVISM / International artists - co-operations 2024: Colombia - France / Switzerland and and a wealth of international works, mostly media-based, a current selection of contemporary compositions and artistic positions. Reflective lectures and discussions with the musicians, artists and composers complement the six concerts of the festival weekend. The projektgruppe neue musik decided to forgo an overarching theme for this edition of the Biennale, in order to engage openly with the complex and multifaceted present situation.
